World Jazz Music

The two musicians Mahan Mirarab from Iran and Oscar Antoli from the Iberian peninsula met at some point "in the middle" , more exactly in Vienna, (Mian: Farsi "In the middle"). With the Austrian drummer Jörg Mikula as a third in the band they began to make music together. Her repertoire includes her own compositions and traditions from South-Eastern Europe, Anatolia and Middle East in modern jazz arrangements with a still chamber music sound.
